The challenge here was to build a garden over the existing paving. The briefing was to have a relaxing place to read a book and that would look great from inside the house.
The client was inspired by a garden that I've created at a Flower Show in Rio de Janeiro, that was done over a Shopping Centre paved flooring, using gravel and pots.
The idea was then adapted to her back garden.
